KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD Limited Warranty
The warranty obligations of KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD [Company Registration No.: 200201001186 (568849-X)] for KDK Product(s) are limited to the terms and conditions listed below:
KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD warrants KDK Product(s) to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under:
Manufacturing defects of defects arising from normal usage within Malaysia for the period of twelve (12) months from date of purchase.
This limited warranty applies to KDK Product(s) purchased and usage in Malaysia from KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD or from its's authorised dealers, whereby the products have been supplied by KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD.
This limited warranty is not valid unless the Customer provides the following:
the warranty card (which have not been altered, defaced or erased) duly completed and provide proof of purchase with a receipt (which is dated and sufficiently itemized to clearly identify the product);
Home service only applicable for Ceiling Fans only.
If KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD or its Authorised Service Agents receives notice of a manufacturing defect or a defect of the KDK Product(s) arising from normal usage within the Warranty Period and a valid claim arises, KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD has the following options: -
repair the product at the cost of KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD using part or parts which are new or equivalent to new in performance or reliability. Any part or parts replaced by KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD or by its's authorised service agent shall become the property of KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD;
exchange the product with a new product or equivalent to new in performance or reliability (whereby the function, performance and reliability is similar to the original product). The product for which the exchange is provided shall become the property of KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD.
This limited warranty for the product does not apply to the following: -
accessories or consumable items such as, remote control, battery, buttons, knobs or blades and etc.
damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper use or mismanagement, operation of the product other than in accordance with the operating manual or instructions or attachment sheets, use of the product in a manner not reasonably contemplated by KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD, unauthorised modification of the Product or subjection of the product to unusual or unrecommended physical, environmental or electrical stress;
cosmetic damage, including but not limited to dents, cracks, scratches and stains;
damage caused by corrosion, oxidation or rust due to spillage of food and liquids or exposure to extreme moisture, thermal or environmental conditions;
damage caused by improper testing, demonstration, maintenance, installation, adjustment or alteration of any kind;
damage caused by part or parts of a product not supplied or approved by KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD;
damage caused by service or repairs performed by anyone who is not a representative of KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD or a its’ authorised qualified service agent;
the serial number of the KDK Product(s) being removed, defaced, made illegible or been tampered;
damage caused by using the product for household purposes in a commercial environment;
damage caused by use with any other product, ancillary equipment or software not furnished or approved by KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD;
damage caused by pest, vermin or infestation of insects;
damage caused by incomplete or improper installation in accordance with the operating manual or instructions or attachment sheets;
damages caused by faulty or leaking batteries not manufactured by KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD;
damage caused by improper packing during shipment of the product to KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD or its authorised service dealers;
damage caused by accident, abuse, floods, fire, winds, earthquake, lightning or other external causes; and
product maintenance demonstration, installation, routine servicing calibration and customisation of the product.
Please take IMPORTANT NOTICE of the following: -
various product models have different specifications, function, display, appearance and performance and are not regarded as a defect in the Product(s).
please refer to the User's Guide/Operating Instruction to ensure that all the correct operation procedures have duly been followed. In particular, kindly refer to any troubleshooting guide that may have been supplied with the Product(s)/KDK’s website.
KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages or damages, including but not limited to any lost of profits, savings, data or loss of use, any third party claims, and any injury to property or bodily injury to any person, arising from or relating to the use of the product or arising from breach of warranty or contract, negligence, tort or strict liability, even if KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD, have been notified of the possibility of such damages.
In the event that the end-user purchaser requires service assistance, please contact the KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD at +603-7785 5011. Alternatively, the end- user purchaser may send the Product(s) to KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD’s Authorised Service Centre. Please provide full details of the product model number and serial number, date of purchase and proof of purchase/warranty card and a brief description of the fault/query when contacting our KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD’s Authorised Service Centre.
If KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD determines that the claim is not covered under the warranty for whatever reason, the Customer will be duly notified. If the Customer authorises KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD to repair the Product(s) which is not covered under the warranty, the Customer shall pay all the charges for all parts, shipping, and labour for the repair and return of the Product(s).
This warranty card is not replaceable in the event of loss, theft and/or defacement.
KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD reserve the right to refuse to attend to any product installed in locations which are deemed inaccessible, inappropriate and/or hazardous to the safety and wellbeing of its service agents.
KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD Conditional Warranty
Applicable for selected products; its specific component after the original 12 months warranty expired. All expenses relating to service charges, transportation or freight charges and whatsoever charges incurred in repairing the product or replacing of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) will be borne by the Customer.

This conditional warranty is not valid unless the Customer provide proof of purchase with a receipt (which is dated and sufficiently itemized to clearly identify the product)
KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD will conduct diagnostic tests on the Product(s) to determine the cause of the failure or defect in the Product(s) before any claim would be validated.
If KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD validates a product under Conditional Warranty, KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD has the following options:-
repair the Product(s) at the cost of KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD, using part or parts which are new or equivalent to new in performance or reliability. Any part or parts replaced by KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD or by its authorised service dealers shall become the property of KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD; or
Exchange the product with a new product or equivalent to new in performance or reliability (whereby the function, performance and reliability is similar to the original product). KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD will not refund the difference between the value of the replacement and the Product(s). The Product(s) for which the
exchange is provided shall become the property of KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD.
KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD may refuse to attend to any product installed in locations which are inaccessible and/or hazardous to its service agents.
The Customer shall be liable for insurance, labour, delivery and transport charges for any Product(s) sent to KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD and from KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD to the Customer's address or such other address the Customer so nominates.
The Customer shall remove any option, feature, parts, accessories or attachments to the Product(s) prior to sending the Product(s) for a claim under conditional warranty failing which KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD shall not be liable for and damage or loss of such option, feature, parts, accessories or attachments. The Customer shall also be liable for labour charges for removing and reattaching the option, feature, parts, accessories or attachments of the Product(s).
If KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD determines that the claim is not covered under the conditional warranty for whatever reason, the Customer will be duly notified. If the Customer authorises KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD and it’s service agent to repair the Product(s) which is not covered under the conditional warranty, the Customer shall pay all the charges for all parts, shipping, and labour for the repair and return of the Product(s).
KDK FANS (M) SDN BHD reserves all rights to change terms and conditions of warranty without prior notification.
